Konftel Ego Portable Speakerphone

“If you are not happy, you can return it”. These are not words’ I often utter, but the Konftel Ego is one of those products. It is a personal speakerphone that does exactly what it says on the box. If you are working from home or in a small group of people having an online meeting, this device will take care of the audio. If you are tired of wearing headphones in your calls then this device will set you free.

The Konftel Ego is a small and portable speakerphone that can be connected either via USB or Bluetooth, has 360 degree omnidirectional microphone, is full duplex and has automatic echo cancellation and noise suppression. There is a colour LED display and buttons for volume up/down, call/end call, mute and Bluetooth. The unit is powered and charged via a micro USB cable and has up to 15 hours talk time (60 hours standby). The unit comes with micro USB cable and a soft shell case. There is also a headphone jack output, so if you want to still make use of the Bluetooth wireless capability but use headphone, you can.

But wait there’s more, it is a Bluetooth speaker as well. When playing music via Bluetooth, the volume buttons work as normal, but the mute becomes a play/pause button, while the call buttons allow you to skip backwards and forwards through your songs.

I have used mine for Zoom, Teams, Starleaf, Meet and have had no issues, it has greatly enhanced the experience and I won’t be using headphones again if I can help it.
