Immersive Simulation Education Facility
AVC was tasked with implementing an immersive simulation AV system for one of the leading universities in South Africa.
The system is used to train students emergency medical procedures in various situations.
The system is made up of three Optoma short throw projectors, edged blended to make one fully immersive image across 3 walls
Image processing and edge blending is done through a computer with 3 x graphic cards running Immersive Display PRO software. The computer runs multiple scenario videos for different training purposes. Interfacing with the software is done via the computer software or wireless Android tablet.
Audio playback is done via amplifier and cabinet speakers
